Vatic Pro was founded in 2022 and built its name the slow way, with a small team, little spent on player contracts, and no middleman between its factories and its shop. The lineup is covered at Pickleball Effect, and the V-Sol Pro is listed at The Kitchen.
The current lineup runs $99.99 to $109.99, with a cover included, and a demo paddle from $60. The V-Sol Tour, released in September 2026, takes the Gen 4 floating foam build from the V-Sol Pro and adds EverGrit, a texture that held 94 percent of its roughness in Pickleball Effect wear testing, well above the 80 percent raw carbon averages. It measured over 2,100 RPM of spin in all three shapes, elongated, hybrid, and widebody. The in depth review is at Pickleball Effect.
Vatic Pro passes the Discovered bar on its own terms: independent and founder led, rec accessible pricing, a practical brand built on value rather than hype, and community roots in direct sales and player feedback. Coverage here is earned editorially, never paid for or promised, and no partnership exists with the brand. If one ever did, it would be disclosed.
Why it matters: This is what the rec player test looks like when someone passes it. Proven tech, put together well, sold for about $100, from an independent brand that skipped the flagship markup. If a small team can sell this at $100, the $250 flagship starts looking like a choice, not a necessity.
